Jean M. Erhardt, a certified paralegal in the firm, provides support in business counseling, real estate, intellectual property and litigation matters.

As part of the firm’s business counseling practice group, Jean assists in corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions.  Jean reviews and prepares loan documentation and appropriate entity authority resolutions. She compiles and reviews due diligence, maintains regulatory, business and professional licensing compliance.  Jean prepares entity formation documentation, corporate bylaws, limited liability company operating agreements, professional licensing registrations and provides corporate maintenance to our corporate clients.

Jean conducts and analyzes trademark and copyright searches; prepares trademark and copyright applications, prosecution, enforcement, protection and maintenance documentation.

As part of the litigation practice group, Jean compiles and reviews routine discovery, motions, enforcement of judgment pleadings, mechanic liens and mortgage foreclosure proceedings.

Prior to joining CCM in 2002, Jean worked as a paralegal and legal assistant with Chicago area law firms whose practice areas included corporate law, real estate, estate planning and civil litigation.
