Ms. Krupalija concentrates her practice in labor and employment and commercial litigation. Her practice involves the representation of corporations, limited liability companies, non-profit organizations and high net-worth individuals. She also counsels the firm's corporate and individual clients on compliance with various federal and state laws governing employment relationships such as the Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Illinois Wage Payment and Collection Act.
Prior to joining Clingen Callow & McLean, LLC, Ms. Krupalija was an associate in the Trial Department of a large Chicago-based firm where she handled a variety of employment, bankruptcy, anti-trust and tax litigation matters. Ms. Krupalija was also involved in the successful representation of one of her former firm's pro bono clients who was granted asylum after a lengthy court battle. Ms. Krupalija's trial victory was featured in the Chicago Sun-Times.
Ms. Krupalija is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law. While in law school, she was a member of the University of Illinois College of Law Trial Team, the Civil Litigation Clinic and the moot court team that won the Best Petitioner's Brief Award in the Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court Competition.
Ms. Krupalija is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. |
